What’s Flagyl (metronidazole), and what exactly is it useful for?

Flagyl and Flagyl long Release (metronidazole) is an antibiotic used to take care of bacterial and parasitic infections including Giardia infections associated with little intestine, amebic liver abscess, amebic dysentery, microbial vaginosis, trichomonas genital infections, providers of trichomonas (both intimate lovers) that do not have apparent symptoms of disease; abscesses into the liver, pelvis, abdomen, and mind; C. Difficile (C. Diff) diarrhoea; Helicobacter pylori (H. Pylori) which causes stomach or intestinal ulcers; and acne rosacea.

Typical unwanted effects of Flagyl and Flagyl ER consist of sickness, headaches, loss in appetite, rash (rare), stomach cramps, vomiting, diarrhoea, dry lips, dark-colored urine, metallic style in lips, losing weight, constipation, furry tongue, nasal congestion, flushing, and genital dryness.
